Easy River & Hillside Strolls

Wander down along the river path, where dense stands of trees create a lush, deeply shaded canopy. We have built bridges and paths throughout the river walk to keep it accessible and enjoyable in all weather. Alternatively, take the bush path along the hillside to enjoy the trees, aloes, and veld grasses.

2km – 6km Plateau Hikes

For those seeking a challenge, our plateau trails wind through expansive, golden grasslands, offering magnificent, uninterrupted vistas of the Magaliesberg foothills. Discover the remains of historic 1800s Tswana settlements or find a secluded spot in the kloof to rest under the shade of indigenous trees.

Saamrus is home to a wide variety of wildlife. Day Visitors: To ensure the farm remains peaceful and uncrowded, we limit the number of day visitors. Booking is essential. Please contact us at info@saamrus.co.za to check availability.

  • Be Prepared: Remember comfortable walking shoes, a sun hat, and plenty of water for all outings.
  • Respecting Our Neighbours: To ensure peace for everyone in the valley, please avoid walking on the road leading toward our neighbouring properties.
