Heerlike ontspannende naweek sal weer kom
Wat n heerlike naweek. EK en my man en ons 2 Cocker Spaniel honde, Droopy en Tinkerbell het dit gate uit geniet. Ons het in Kiewiet gebly en ons 2 "Spoiled Brats " kom heerlike buite in die tuintjie rondharloop sonder dat ons hoef bang te wees hulle kom uit die erf. Die stappies na die Rivier was net so lekker en hulle het heerlik in die water baljaar. Akkomodasie was net so lekker en ons het alles gehad wat ons nodig het. Het heerlike buite gesit en na die voels luister wat in oorvloed was. Voel vanoggend sommer heerlik verfris en lus vir die week na so n heerlike ontspannende naweek

Paradise on earth!
The peacefulness was overwhelming! We stayed in the most exquisite cottage at the foot of the hill, the mountain at the back of us and the river in front!! What an experience, seeing my Jack Russels and my 5 year old son having so much fun together! Hubby and me relaxed for the first time in months! The awesome bath, with a view of the mountain,candlelight, red wine.....need I say more. We will definately visit again!!!!

This is a beautiful cottage, with a lovely view of the hills.
This is a beautiful cottage, with a lovely view of the hills. Heard the mooing of a cow, the baa-ing of a sheep, barking of dogs, cock-a-doodle-doo of a rooster, crackle of a fire, buzzing of flies, droning of airplanes, chirping of crickets at night, a jackal calling – these are the most beautiful sounds of nature. Seized the moment and had it all to ourselves.

Many birds, from blue waxbills to black-shouldered kite. Our dogs had a ball. We enjoyed our second stay and will be back soon. Keep it natural.

We always come back (4 or 5 times now).
We always come back (4 or 5 times now). Fantastic up here and so much freedom for Misty and Bailey. We went for very long walks over the hills and dogs exhausted us – good for our health (exercise)

So comfortable. Thanks again for a wonderful weekend.
This is our second visit in less than a year and once again we enjoyed the absolute peace and quiet Saamrus has to offer. We could literally spend the entire weekend on the porch, with nothing more than good books, good wine and good company. Although we live less than 100 kms from here, it felt like we were miles away from the city. We love bringing our dogs here and are already planning our next weekend at Saamrus. The cottages are exquisite and beautifully decorated – so comfortable. Thanks again for a wonderful weekend.

It all started by leaving the computer open when little Kalula decided it was time for a couple of days out of town. We were lucky that she found a pet-friendly place and allowed us to come with her. What a delight to find such a well-managed and comfortable home away from home. The lemon-infused rusks were only one of the pleasant surprises. Thank you.

It's really lovely here
we felt like the only people alive. A lovely place to escape the madness of reality and even better that we can bring the dogs along to share the experience. Will definitely be back to stay in this beautiful little cottage and to walk the hills and by the river.

A wonderful scenic cottage, scary to reach but well worth it once on the hill. The peacefulness was overwhelming as we can just get away from the rat race in Jozi. Will definitely be back and only one cottage to stay in – the paradise on the hill. It reminds me of the movie 'Out of Africa'. Thanks for an awesome experience.
